Our Journey
For years, Claire & Ade dreamed of creating a glamping retreat in our local community, a place where people could escape, reconnect with nature, and celebrate special moments with their loved ones. After many conversations and plenty of daydreaming, we took the leap in 2020 and Caracol Glamping was born…
It all started when we posted a small ad in the local NFU newsletter asking if any farmers were interested in farm diversification. Fortunately Michael from New Park Farm, Groombridge Farm Shop invited us in for a chat, it was the conversation that set everything in motion.
The excitement quickly turned into hard work as we set about transforming a three-acre field into a boutique glamping site. Everything needed to be done from branding, website creation to sourcing luxury bell tents, beds, linens, toilets, and high-end toilet & showers facilities.
In June 2022, we welcomed our very first guests, a 50th birthday party and a milestone that made all of the effort worthwhile. Since then, we’ve had the privilege of hosting hen parties, special birthdays, networking events, staff gatherings, and even a marriage vow renewal!
